New PVC Deck Build in Kirkland

We recently completed a modern PVC deck build for a residential client in Kirkland. The goal was to replace the aging deck structure with a cleaner, more durable solution that enhances the outdoor living space and integrates seamlessly with the existing patio.

Project Highlights:

• Material: Premium low-maintenance PVC decking with hidden fasteners for a clean finish. The boards offer superior fading resistance, a great material warranty, and easy cleaning and maintenance.

• Deck Size: Approximately 320 square feet of usable deck space with wide-open seating and potted plant areas.

• Stair Design: Two sets of custom wide steps with picture-frame borders and mitered corners to improve both safety and visual appeal.

• Framing: Built on pressure-treated framing lumber with proper drainage and ventilation clearances.

• Trim & Finish: Clean skirt boards and fascia panels were installed around the perimeter for a fully wrapped, high-end look.

• Integration: The new deck seamlessly transitions into the surrounding paver patio, providing a smooth, multi-surface layout that enhances functionality and flow.

• Functionality: Strategically placed entry/exit steps and a generous platform make this space ideal for lounging, entertaining, or just enjoying a quiet morning coffee outdoors.

This project is a great example of how a well-designed PVC deck can refresh the aesthetics of a backyard while minimizing long-term maintenance.
